We offer a selection of peaceful accommodation options, all based on our beautiful family smallholding between the Snowdonia mountains and Cambrian Coast, with footpaths from the doorstep. Nestled into the mountains under a vast sky, from which you can enjoy the wild beauty of Snowdonia. The Crogloft (2+2) glamping loft has mountain/sunrise views, its own garden and firepit, The Pottery (2+2) offers luxury living with sunset/sea views, a log burner and hot tub. In the summer we also offer some of the most spectacular glamping in Snowdonia- a 5m bell tent in our wild flower meadow, with it’s own hot tub.

Evenings by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub and some fantastic adventures. The area surrounding our smallholding is teeming with wildlife, flora and fauna. Watch the red kites fly high, and see the return of the swallows to nest in the barn in summer. Watch dolphins from the beach from June-August and watch the stars in this special protected night sky zone of Wales. Indulge yourself with a Swedish massage, meditation session and yoga all available from your host.

Encil Eryri is located in the South of the Snowdonia National Park. It’s home to Tynllwyn Hen, our family home, The Crogloft, a cosy glamping hayloft conversion with fire pit and mountain views, The Pottery, a beautiful converted barn which is a comfortable cottage with sunset and bay views, a hot tub and log burner, and our glamping and camping field. A perfect hideaway in the Snowdonia National Park. All the benefits of a beautiful, undisturbed location yet within easy reach of sandy beaches, restaurants, pubs, historic sites, walks and adventures.

  • The Pottery– Sleeps 2 +2 with one bedroom and bathroom, wood burning stove, sea view BBQ, dog bed, enclosed garden, wood fired hot tub & star gazing deck
  • Sunset Bell tent – Sleeps 4 + 1 in our flower meadow with sea and mountain sunset views, fire pit, shower room and hot tub
  • The Crogloft– Sleeps 2+2 all in one room kitchenette, double bed and sofa bed, with outdoor bathroom and washing up facilities, hammock, garden and fire pit.
  • Glamping & Camping- A 4 person bell tent/tip and one pitch in a wildflower meadow with sunset views

Walks in Snowdonia

There is plenty to explore in this area of Snowdonia. Walkers will find paths suitable for a variety of levels-plenty of high mountain peaks, flat long beach walks, gentle walks with panoramic views and easy walks suitable for younger children or those with more limited mobility. Precipice walk, the Mawddach Estuary, Cadair Idris, Cregannen Lakes, Aran Fawddwy and Dolgoch waterfalls are all easily accessible by car from your base.

  •   Fabulous off beat retreat, with amazing views. Really comfortable with a very warm and friendly feeling and atmosphere. Katy and Aled were super hosts. We loved our time here and would most definitely return!
