T H Roberts Coffee Shop, Dolgellau: A cafe perfect for filling up after a good walk/bike/canoe in the big outdoors. Offers huge delicious selection of homemade cakes, Welsh Rarebit, Sandwiches, Soups and more.

Cafe Alys, Heol Maengwyn, Machynlleth: A lovely Welsh cafe in the old Parliament Building next to the Owain Glyndwr Centre. Gail the owner is an excellent chef, does themed evening meals, a couple of soups and specials each day and cakes and coffees.

London House Deli, Machynlleth: Old market building where grain would be bought and sold now offers some local Welsh cheeses, the best pasties in the area and some very filling Panini’s along with good coffee.
